Selecting adjacent lines
1.
In the right pane, select the first line.
2.
Press and hold the Shift key.
3.
Select the last line.
All lines between the first and last line are selected.
Selecting all lines

Click anywhere in the right pane.
2.
Click Ctrl+A.
All lines are selected.
Nonadjacent lines
The replication manager does not support selection of nonadjacent lines.
Editing individual commands (tasks)
Select or enter argument values for the command. If applicable, enter job flow controls for the
command.
Procedure
1.
In the Create Job or Edit Job window, double-click the command (task) to edit. The Editing
Task window opens.
2.
Enter values for the command arguments.
3.
If applicable, enter a label for this command (task). See
4.
If applicable, enter an assignment (variable name) for this command (task). See
5.
If applicable, select a branching instruction for this command (task). See
6.
Click OK.
Properties
•
Label. Label for this command (task).
•
Assignment. Variable name assigned for this command (task).
•
Branching Type and Label. Branching instruction for this command (task)
Generating job templates
Generate a job template that contains the correct commands, in the proper order, to perform your
tasks. Complete the commands by specifying the specific resources for the job. See
for brief descriptions.
Considerations
•
You can only use the GUI to generate a job template.
Procedure
1.
In the Create Job or Editing Job window, enter a job name. Otherwise, you cannot save the
job that you are generating.
2.
Click Template.
The Job Template Creation window opens.
