Resource states

The states of resources are indicated as follows.

Description

Icon

Normal/Good. Resource is operating normally.

Warning. Resource is operating normally but is in a temporary abnormal state; the operator should monitor
the resource. Also, indicates any condition that needs attention.

Severe. Resource has experienced a catastrophic failure; the operator must act immediately to prevent further
failures or data loss.

Unknown. Resource cannot be reached or its state cannot be determined.

NOTE:

One of the conditions that can result in an Unknown state is attempting to use invalid credentials

to access the resource.

Event states

are similar and are displayed in the event pane. A DR group's operational state uses

Special icons

to represent a combination of DR group states and modes.
