4. Defaulting the Flexible Control Strategy Wirelist:
• Use setpoint and output pushbutton to select database location B16. The bottom
line of the display should look like:

B16 then ENTER the selection by pressing F3.
• Database location 16 will always have a value of 0 when displayed. Once a new
strategy is loaded using B16, the value is automatically returned to 0. Enter a
value of 98 for B16 by pressing the setpoint increase pushbutton and output
decrease pushbutton again. The bottom line of the display should look like:

Press F3 to ENTER the selected value. This will force the wirelist to the default
values.
5. Selecting a new to Flexible Control Strategy, CS1 Single Loop Controller:
• Do this by entering a value of 1 into the database location B16. The bottom line of
the display should look like:

Press F3 to ENTER the selection.
• Use the setpoint increase pushbutton and change the current value of B16 to 1.
The bottom line of the display should look like:

Press F3 to ENTER the selection.
6. Executing the Flexible Control Strategy:
• Do this by entering a value of 1 into the database location B0. The bottom line of
the display should currently look like:

• Using the output increase pushbutton, shift the B16 database location by one
position to the right,

Use the setpoint decrease pushbutton to change the 1 character to a 0. The
display should look like:

Press F3 to ENTER the selection. The display should look like:

• Use the setpoint increase pushbutton to change the 0 value to a 1 and then press
F3 to ENTER the selection. As soon as you pressed F3 the instrument exits the
suspend mode and begins executing the CS1 Flexible Control Strategy. The
standard controller display is visible on the faceplate.
