4. Do one of the following:
Ⅲ If you see the Contents list, select Send/Receive
Schedule.
Ⅲ If you see the Enter Email Address screen, press Next
(right softkey) until you see the screen to the right.
5. Select either of the following:
Ⅲ Automatic Send/Receive: Set the time interval for
automatically downloading email, from every five
minutes to once a day. (If you do not want to
automatically download messages, select Manually.)
Ⅲ Download messages: Set the number of days’ worth of email to be retrieved for
each automatic or manual retrieval.
6. Select Advanced Settings and then select any of the following:
Ⅲ
Send/receive when I click Send: Set whether you can manually send and receive
messages, in addition to automatically downloading them.
Ⅲ Use automatic send/receive schedule when roaming:
Set whether automatic downloading takes place when
you are roaming. (This may result in higher connection
charges than downloading while in your home
network.)
Ⅲ When deleting messages: Set whether messages
should be deleted from the mail server when you
delete them on your Treo, or whether messages you
delete on your device should remain on the server.
Tip To save memory, limit the number of emails you download to your Treo by
selecting a long interval for the
Automatic Send/Receive setting or a short
interval for the Downloaded messages setting.
