Synchronizing the Date and Time with a Time Server
You can synchronize the product with an NTP time server to set the date and time on the product.
Note:
If you are using a CA certificate or Kerberos authentication, it is recommended to use a time
server to set the date and time.
1. Log in to the Web Config interface as an administrator.
2. Select the
Device Management
tab, then select the
Date and Time
>
Time Server
setting.
3. Set
Use Time Server
to
Use
.
4. Enter the time server address in
Time Server Address
. You can use the IPv4, IPv6, or FQDN
format for the address. You are limited to 252 characters.
5. Enter an update interval (up to 10080 minutes) in
Update Interval (min)
.
6. Click
OK
to update the settings.

You can delete the contents of the product's internal memory, such as password-protected print jobs and
downloaded PCL fonts and macros using the Web Config interface. You cannot select individual items to
delete.
1. Log in to the Web Config interface as an administrator.
2. Select the
Device Management
tab, then select the
Clear Internal Memory Data
setting.
3. Select
Delete
and confirm your selection.
