INSTALLATION

Upon completion of installation, refer to Chapter 8
for LNA installation.
C.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Inspect the shipping container for damage:
1. Retain shipping container and packing materials for possible re-shipment.
2. Check to determine that all parts, materials and documentation have been
shipped with the converter.
3. Inspect converter for possible damage, and then test for proper operation.
• Notify the Comtech EF Data Customer Service representative immediately
if the shipment is incomplete, or there is mechanical damage, or the
converter does not operate properly.
• Notify the carrier, and retain all shipping materials for inspection by the
carrier, if there is damage to the shipping container.

Comtech EF Data recommends that two technicians perform any of the following
installations.
