12.1 SNMP Interface
The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application-layer protocol designed to
facilitate the exchange of management information between network devices. The CDM-700
SNMP agent supports both SNMPv1 and v2c.
IMPORTANT
For proper SNMP operation, the CDM-700 MIB files must be used with the
associated version of the CDM-700 modem M&C Software. Please refer to
the CDM-700 SW Release Notes for information on the required FW/SW
compatibility.
