If Negotiation Æ View is selected, the current negotiation is displayed. See the following
sample screens:

6.3.1.7.1 (CONFIG:) Intfc2 (CDI-70 Gigabit Ethernet Interface)

The CDM-700 can be configured with a second CDI-70 Gigabit Ethernet interface board plugged
into interface Slot2 (Intfc2). The menus are identical to what is presented in 6.3.1.7 (CONFIG:)
Intfc1 (CDI-70 Gigabit Ethernet Interface)
except that Intfc2, rather than Intfc1, is displayed in
all menus.

The external reference is applied to J7 Ext Ref on the main chassis – not a data interface module.

Redundancy Mode:
Ena/Dis Force(1:1) (

Ena/Dis (Enable/Disable) is used to configure the modem for 1:1 or 1:N operation. The Force
(1:1)
selection is only available for use with a 1:1 switch to force switchover.

Note: In VLAN Redundancy, OFFLINE Modem is VLAN UNAWARE.

Select Ena/Dis or Force (1:1) using the ◄ ► arrow keys. Press

ENTER.

If Redundancy Mode: Æ Ena/Dis is selected:
