Notes:

1. 16-QAM 3/4, add 0.2 dB above 51 Mbps.
2. 16-QAM 3/4, add 0.4 dB above 103 Mbps.
3. 64-QAM 3/4 , operates to 32 Msps. 64-QAM 7/8, operates to 30.6 Msps.

Additional Information:

For comparison with DVB-S2 it is convenient to use Spectral Efficiency (bps/Hz) and Es/No
(Es/No = C/N in the symbol rate bandwidth). Es/No is given by:

Es/No = C/N = Eb/No + 10 Log (Spectral Efficiency).

10.7.1 Adjacent

Channel

No more than 0.5 dB Eb/No degradation in the presence of a like modulated adjacent carrier
spaced 1.3 x symbol rate from the desired carrier and 10 dB higher than the desired.
