8.3.2.1 Set Serial Output Command
The Set Serial Output command selects the serial port output source for a serial port
connector. The following table lists the request and response data applicable to the Set Serial
Output command.
8.3.2.2 Get Serial Output Command
The Get Serial Output Command provides a way to determine which serial output source goes
to a particular serial port connector.

Request Data 1:3 Artesyn IANA Number (0065CDh). LSB first.
4 Serial connector type:
0 = Front panel connector
1 = Backplane connector
All other values are reserved.
5 Serial connector instance number, a value of 00h shall be used all other
values are reserved
6 Serial output selector.
0 = payload interface
2 = IPMC debug console
All other values are reserved
Response Data 1 Completion code.

Currently, only BIOS output is supported.
