Installing a Ball Stud Lock
The ball stud lock has a groove that mates with a lip around the end of the ball joint socket.
1. To install a ball stud lock, line up the groove in the ball stud lock with the lip in the
ball joint socket, and slide the lock on.
The lock is designed to be tight enough that it will not come off in use. No tools are
needed.
2. Twist the ball stud lock back-and-forth slightly, after installation, to ensure that it is
fully seated.
