4.2 Protected field
4 Function description
3. The advance measuring field is used to hold the protected field sta-
tionary at the pinch point on the workpiece. The segment division is
optimised for the dynamic muting process.
4. The respective upper segments are deactivated before the upper tool
enters the protected field.
Signal statuses of the outputs Mute1/Mute2 and OSSD1/OSSD2

The control system may only override the safety function from a
remaining gap of 6 mm.
