 To change all corner points in one or more shapes into curved points, select the

shape(s) and choose Format > Shape > Smooth Path.

 To change all curved points in one or more shapes into corner points, select the

shape(s) and choose Format > Shape > Sharpen Path.

Editing Specific Predrawn Shapes

Some predrawn shapes have special built-in editing controls that you can use in

addition to those described above.

To edit a rounded rectangle:

Drag the circular control to the left to straighten the corners and to the right to

“round” them.

To edit single and double arrows:

m

Use the three special controls to increase or decrease the tail’s length and width

without changing the shape of the arrowhead.

Drag to straighten or
round the corner.

Drag to change the
tail length.

Drag to change the size
(width) of the arrowhead.
The cursor is a four-
directional arrow that
you can move up or
down (affects tail width)
or to the left and right
(affects arrowhead size).
