Designated use
The field bus module type SPC200−COM−PDP enables the
SPC200 to be coupled to the PROFIBUS−DP. With this field bus
module the SPC200 can be operated as a slave on the relĆ
evant field bus. Only one field bus module may be installed
on the SPC200.
This manual contains information on installing, commissionĆ
ing and diagnosing the PROFIBUS−DP field bus.
Basic components and modules for the SPC200 are described
in the system manual type P.BE−SPC200−...Ă. The safety inĆ
structions listed in the manuals must always be observed and
the relevant components and modules must only be used as
intended. Please observe also the safety instructions listed in
the operating instructions for the pneumatic components
used. The SPC200 and the modules and cables to be conĆ
nected are only to be used as follows:
ć in accordance with designated use
ć only in industrial applications
ć without any modifications by the user. Only the converĆ
sions or modifications described in the documentation
supplied with the product are permitted
ć in faultless technical condition.
When used together with commercially available compoĆ
nents, such as sensors and actuators, the specified limits for
pressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques etc. must be
observed. National and local safety regulations must also be
observed.
