3.3 Connecting the SPC200 via a branch line
Please note
If connection of the SPC200 via a branch line cannot be
avoided:
Ĉ Do not connect the branch lines with a terminating
resistor.
Ĉ Please note that the permitted segment length will be
reduced by the length of the branch line.
Ĉ Please note the maximum permitted branch line lengths.
If possible, branch lines should be avoided on the
PROFIBUS−DP, as they can cause too much capacitive
stress on the transmission cable.
