The Module Configuration menu for a multiplexing port is
displayed in Figure 22.

The fields in the Module Configuration menu for the multiplexing
ports are defined in the table below:
Parameter
Description
Port - Link
Indicates the status of the multiplexing port. Refer to
Table 2 on page 45 for descriptions of the possible
statuses.
Channel (1, 2, 3, 4)
or
Channel (5, 6, 7, 8)
Displays the status of the GBIC ports handled by the
WEST (OPT A) or the EAST (OPT B) multiplexing port.
• Channels (1 to 4) are displayed when the WEST
(OPT A) multiplexing port is selected.
• Channels (5 to 8) are displayed when the EAST
(OPT B) multiplexing port is selected.
The statuses are:
• Port Active - The GBIC port can send traffic through
the multiplexing port.
• Port Shutdown - The GBIC port cannot send traffic
through the multiplexing port.
