SNMP Management Session
Another way to remotely manage an AT-WD1008 multiplexer is with an
SNMP application program, such as HP Openview. A familiarity with
Management Information Base (MIB) objects is necessary to manage a
multiplexer with an SNMP management program.
To manage a multiplexer with an SNMP application program, you must
download the Allied Telesyn multiplexer MIB file from the Allied Telesyn
web site and compile the file with your SNMP program. For instructions,
refer to your SNMP management documentation.
