Multiplexing
ports
• WEST

The status information for a multiplexing port
varies depending on whether the port is in Link
Test mode.
Link Test Mode Off
• TX-Online and RX-Online
At least one of the end nodes connected to the
multiplexer has established a link with its
corresponding end node connected to the
remote multiplexer. (To determine whether all
of the local end nodes have established a link
with their corresponding remote nodes, view
the GBIC port status information in this
window.)
• TX-Offline and RX-Offline
The multiplexing port has no packets to
transmit or receive. Or none of the end nodes
connected to the local GBIC ports have
established a connection with their
corresponding end nodes connected to the
remote multiplexer.
Link Test Mode On
• TX-Online and RX-Online
The multiplexing port has established a link
with the remote multiplexing port.
• TX-Offline and RX-Offline
The multiplexing port has not established a
link with the remote multiplexing port. Or the
remote multiplexing port is not in Link Test
mode.

Tx/Status - Indicates the transmitting status of the
10Base-T port on the module.
• Online: Indicates that the 10Base-T port has
established a link with its end node.
• Offline: Indicates that the 10Base-T port is not
being used or has not established a link with its
end node.

Tx/Status - Indicates the operating status of the
module.
• On: Indicates that the module is functioning
properly.
• Off: Indicates that the module is either not
powered ON or is malfunctioning.
• Not Inserted: The module is not inserted.
