SET SYSTEM
Syntax
set system [name=name] [location=location]
[contact=contact]
Parameters
name Specifies the name of the multiplexer. The name
can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters in length.
No spaces are allowed.
contact Specifies the name of the network administrator
responsible for managing the multiplexer. The
contact can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters
in length. No spaces are allowed.
location Specifies the location of the multiplexer. The
location can be from 1 to 15 alphanumeric
characters in length. No spaces are allowed.
Description
This command sets a multiplexer’s name, the name of the network
administrator responsible for managing the unit, and the location of the
unit.
Examples
The following command sets a multiplexer’s information:
set system name=Sales contact=Jane_Smith
location=Bldg_3_rm_212
The following command sets just the multiplexer’s name:
set system name=Production_Dept
