SET LOG

Syntax

set log syslogserver=ipaddress facilitycode=number

Parameters

syslogserver

Specifies the IP address of a syslog server on the
network. To delete a previously assigned IP
address without assigning a new address, enter
0.0.0.0.

facilitycode

Assigns a facility code to the multiplexer log
messages. The value range of the facility code is 0
to 23. The default value is 1.

Description

You can use this command to configure the multiplexer to send the
Activity Log events to a syslog server on your network. This allows you to
view the events by examining the syslog.

Example

The following command specifies the IP address 148.11.22.44 as a syslog
server on the network:

set log syslogserver=148.11.22.44
