Gateway
Address
Specifies the IP address of the default router. This
address is required to manage the multiplexer remotely
if the remote network management station is separated
from the multiplexer by a router.
Manager
address (1 - 4)
Specifies up to four IP addresses of network
management stations that will receive SNMP traps from
the multiplexer. The addresses are optional.
Download
Password
The management software uses the loader password to
prevent you from downloading an inappropriate file
onto the AT-WDM02 Management Module. This
password is used only for TFTP downloads of the
AT-S47 Management Software. You must specify the
download password as the destination file in the TFTP
command. The default password is “ats47”. For
information on downloading software using TFTP, refer
to Using TFTP to Upgrade the Management
Software on page 75
.
SNMP
Community

Specifies the Get, Set, and Trap community strings.
Location
Specifies the physical location of the multiplexer (for
example, First Floor, Lab.)
Contact
Specifies the contact information such as name, phone
number, and other information to help identify the
person responsible for managing the multiplexer.
Disable BOOTP
Disables the BOOTP protocol on the multiplexer. This is
the default setting.
Enable BOOTP
Enables the BOOTP protocol on the multiplexer.
NOTE: If you activate BOOTP, you must reset the
management module in order for the module to start
issuing the BOOTP requests. The multiplexer does not
support Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
The multiplexer issues up to three requests for its IP
configuration from the BOOTP server. If the BOOTP
server does not respond, the management module uses
the manually assigned IP address, if one was manually
assigned.
