SNMP Trap
Description
Cold Start
Transmitted whenever the multiplexer is power
cycled.
Authentication
Transmitted whenever an SNMP application
program attempts to perform a Set function, and
the Set community string on an SNMP application
program is different from the same community
string on the multiplexer.
Change Port Link
Transmitted whenever a multiplexing port or a GBIC
port establishes or loses a link with its respective
end node.
Port
Active/Shutdown
Transmitted whenever a GBIC port is manually
activated or deactivated.
Link Test
Transmitted whenever the Link Test mode is
activated on one of the multiplexing ports.
Module
Insertion/Removal
Transmitted whenever a GBIC module is inserted or
removed from its slot.
RPS Failure
Transmitted whenever a power failure occurs in the
main power supply or in the RPS module.
Fan Failure
Transmitted whenever a failure occurs in the fan
module.
Over-Temperature
Transmitted whenever the operating temperature
of the multiplexer exceeds 50
°
C and/or the
operating temperature of AT-WDM02 Management
Module exceeds 63
°
C.
