World Wide Node Name Configuration
The World Wide Node (WWN) Name screen is used to change the WWN Name
settings for the router.
is an example of the World Wide Node Name
screen.
These WWN settings are not normally changed.
Caution:
Changing the WWN Name could result in duplicate names on a
single Storage Area Network. HP recommends using the default values for
WWN.
Note:
For Controller LUN commands to be operational, WWN naming schemes MUST
be compliant with IEEE Fibre Channel Format 1, where the left-most hexadecimal
character (the NAA field) of the WWN is '1'. The sixth hexadecimal value from the
right must be a value of '0' or'1'.
Note:
If the configuration settings are reset to the factory default, these customized
WWN settings will be overwritten.
