Assign a server profile to a device bay.

Syntax

assign profile [-PowerOn]

Parameters

ProfileName

(required)

The unique name of the server profile.

DeviceBay (required) The device bay to assign the profile. Format:

:. If EnclosureID is not specified, the

default is the local enclosure. To assign a profile to a multi-blade server,
must be the monarch bay.

Option

PowerOn

Powers on the server after the profile is assigned

Examples

->assign profile MyProfile1 enc0:1

Assigns a profile to device bay 1 of the primary enclosure

->assign profile MyProfile1 enc0:5

Assigns a profile to a multi-blade server in bays 5-8 of the primary enclosure
