20.5.2 GSM Omit Digit
Installer menu
Æ Reporting Æ Reporting options Æ GSM omit digit: No*
GSM omit digit: Yes
xIf you select “GSM omit digit: Yes” , the first digit of the phone number saved in
the phone book for a GSM connection will not be dialled.
o If you want to make a call to a public network exchange from a
telephone in an extension system, you have to first enter the
external access code (prefix) before
you dial the actual phone number.
o In this case, the external access code must be in first place in the
alarm centre phone book. Then the actual target phone number
follows. The external access code can be obtained from the
administrator of the extension system or from the extension system
manual. It is usually “0”; in Britain it is usually “9”.
Format of the telephone number: 0 0123 4567890.
o The alarm centre can then also be connected to an analogue
extension system.
This extension does not now have to be switched to an outgoing
prefix automatically.
xUse an extension line in a private extension system which has a prefix
automatically programmed or a normal analogue telephone connection, then
select “GSM omit digit: No”.
xThe “GSM omit digit: Yes” option impacts the phone books of:
oALARMS
oSocial Care
oSpeech Dialler.
xSending SMSs is usually only done via GSM. You can save the normal phone
numbers in the phone book.
Format of the telephone number: 0123 4567890.
oFor a private extension system, the alarm centre is connected to an
analogue extension without an automatic prefix.
If you now want to also send a text message which starts the alarm
system on an analogue connection, make the settings at:

before the external access code of the actual service centre phone
number.
Format of the telephone number: 0 0123 4567890.

for "Panic" (L561), "Fire" (L560), "Medical" (L620), "Social Emergency" (L571) and
"Social Inactivity" (L572).
If "Yes" is selected, all alarms are reported.
