17.16 Force Set

When On is selected, the zones with the “Z” zone attribute are automatically hidden
when the alarm system or partition is activated (provided the zones are open).
When Confirm is selected, the zones with the “Z” zone attribute are automatically
hidden
when the alarm system or partition is activated (provided the zones are open).
You must confirm this procedure to activate the system or partition and hide the
zones. Press the active key on the remote control twice.
This setting must not be used when a wireless cylinder is implemented.
When OFF is selected, it is not possible to activate the alarm system or partition
when at least one zone is open, even when this is programmed with the “Z” zone
attribute.

17.17 RF Siren Options

This menu is used to select how the wireless siren responds in case of fire, burglary or
panic alarms. There are two possibilities here:

Siren+Strobe
The siren and strobe are activated by the wireless siren in the event of an alarm.

Strobe
Only
the strobe is activated by the wireless siren in the event of an alarm.

17.18

Tamper alarm

Installer Menu

Æ System Options Æ Send unset Tampers Æ Disabled

Enabled

xFactory setting: Disabled

xWhen “Enabled” is selected, tamper alarms are transmitted over the selected

communication method, even when the alarm centre is deactivated. This
applies to ALARMS, SPEECH DIALLER and SMS communication.

17.19

Time source for the clock

Installer menu

Æ System options Æ Time source Æ Mains frequency*

Crystal

xChoose the time source here for synchronising the clock and date.

xThe “Crystal” option is sometimes useful if interference frequencies in the mains

supply line impact the accuracy of the time.

oNote: the accuracy for crystal is approx. ±3.9 min per month.

17.20

Runtime for internal transducer

Installer menu

Æ System options Æ Int. siren time Æ 0 / 1.5 / 3 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 min /

Forever*

xSelect the runtime of the internal transducer here (alarm centre, wireless internal

siren, wireless info module) after a burglar alarm.

xFor security reasons, there is no time restriction for a fire alarm or panic

alarm.

xSpecial behaviour for using the entry delay:

Requirements:

o The internal transducers (alarm centre, wireless internal siren, wireless info

module) are silenced once the internal siren time has elapsed.

o The alarm centre has been automatically reactivated.

(see also “Installer menu

Æ System options Æ Activate automatically”)

Behaviour:

ƒIf you now step into the entry area (detectors of the type “Final

Exit” and “Entry Route” are opened), the internal transducers
(alarm centre, wireless internal sirens, wireless info module)
trigger an alarm tone.

ƒThe normal entry tone will not be signalled in this case.

o Note:

When you use the entry delay, you usually expect the normal entry tone.
This entry tone can be heard as long as the entry delay time is running. If
you now hear an alarm tone after opening the entrance door, you know
straight away that the alarm centre has detected a burglary in your absence.
The delay time runs on nevertheless. Therefore, deactivate your alarm
centre within the delay time. However, only do this if you feel able to take
action yourself. A burglar might still be on the premises!
If you do not
do this, you will hear another burglar alarm once the delay time has
elapsed.
Inform any other people who have access to your premises of how to deal
with the alarm centre.

xOnce you have selected the “Forever” option, then the internal transducers

(alarm centre, wireless internal siren, wireless info module) trigger the alarm
tone until the alarm centre is deactivated.

When “Force Set” is activated, the system does not comply to EN50131.
