Description:

Returns the DNS Address.

Return Format: “

Example:

SYST:COMM:LAN:DNS? returns DNS address “8.8.8.8”.

SYST:COMM:LAN:DNS:AUTO

Syntax:

Short Form: SYST:COMM:LAN:DNS:AUTO { ON | OFF | 1 | 0 }
Long Form: SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DNS:AUTO { ON | OFF | 1 | 0 }

Description:

Used to enable the power supply to automatically obtain the DNS addresses from the DHCP
server. This command is invalid when DHCP set to ON.

Argument:

or 1 enables automatic DNS addresses from DHCP
or 0 disables automatic DNS addresses from DHCP

Example:

SYST:COMM:LAN:DNS:AUTO 1 enables DNS addresses to be obtained automatically from
DHCP.

Description:

Indicates whether automatic DNS addresses from DHCP is on (enabled) or off (disabled).
Returns 1 to indicate the automatic DNS addresses from DHCP is on, 0 to indicate automatic DNS
addresses from DHCP is off.

Return Format: { 1 | 0 }

Example:

SYST:COMM:LAN:DNS? returns DNS address “8.8.8.8”.

Syntax:

Description:

Sets a static default gateway address to be used during communication via the LAN inter-
face.
This command is invalid if DHCP is enabled (on).

Argument:

is text format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Example:

SYST:COMM:LAN:GATE 192.168.0.1 assigns the static default gateway address to be
192.168.0.1.

Syntax:

Long Form: SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:IP

Description:

Sets the IP address for communication via the LAN interface. Changing this address requires
that power to the KLN be cycled off, then on.

Argument:

is text in the format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Example:

SYST:COMM:LAN:IP 192.168.0.100 sets the IP address to 192.168.0.100.
