9.1 Sensor compatibility
Electrically: All the K-Patents PR-23 refractometer sensors are interchangeable. The
PR-23 sensors are not interchangeable with the PR-01 and PR-03 range sensors. Fur-
thermore, the PR-23 sensors are not compatible with the K-Patents PR-01 / PR-03
indicating transmitter IT-R.
Mechanically: The sanitary process refractometer PR-23-AC-62-HSS fits the same
2 1/2" sanitary process connection as the sanitary refractometer PR-03-A62-HSS.
9.2 Sensor rangeability
The refractive index standard range of a PR-23 refractometer sensor is 1.320–1.530
(corresponds to 0–100 Brix), Figure 9.2.
