8 Ethernet services configuration
All the settings about network parameters must be done with the network cable disconnected; alternatively, once the
setting has been done the Personal Computer must be restarted.
The procedure to gain access to the configuration menu is the following:
- press and (LEFT/ENTER) for 4 s
- from the frame “Network Status” press (DOWN) to scroll until node 1
- press (ENTER).
8.1 Web Server
The Web Server functionality is active as default feature.
The basic configuration about the network can be done via user interface gaining access to the manufacturer menu
and then to the Ethernet menu.
There are three parameters to set the address, subnet mask and gateway.
PE01: parameter device network address
PE02: parameter subnet mask
PE03: parameter gateway network address.
As standard setting the web server is configured to communicate on port 80 (standard http).
To modify the port it is necessary to gain access to the configuration menu and then to the menu Networks >
(password -19) > Ethernet.
Scroll the items until:
- “Web Server Port” and type the desired value.
8.1.1 WEB interface
The WEB interface is made by a series of TAB dividing the quantities by groups.
To modify a quantity click on the value, modify and then change the focus (using TAB or positioning the cursor over
another field).
The modification can be done on condition that the writing password has been typed.
8.1.2 Password for the parameters modification via WEB
The password for writing the parameters via WEB is the following:
Evco@AHU
To type the password click on the area in the top left corner.
A text box will appear.
To unlock the writing of parameters send the password again.
Anyway, after 5 minutes the password will be cancelled and to modify the parameters again it must be typed again.
