Précautions concernant le bloc-batterie
■ Précautions d’utilisation
Pour éviter toute fuite, élévation excessive de température ou
explosion, veiller à observer les points suivants:
1. Utiliser seulement le bloc d’aiimentation/charge ou le chargeur
sur allume-cigare en option spécifiés pour charger le bloc-
batterie. Si, même lorsque le bloc-batterie est correctement
chargé, le temps de fonctionnement est trop court pour assurer
une utilisation normale, alors la durée de vie du bloc-batterie
arrive à son terme. (Le bloc-batterie peut être rechargé environ 200 fois.)
2- S’assurer qu’aucun objet métallique ne touche (court-circuite)
les connecteurs du bloc-batterie. (Lorsqu'on le transporte dans
un sac ou un récipient similaire, veiller à ce que des clés, des
pièces de monnaie, etc. n’entrent pas en contact avec lui.)
3. Ne pas chauffer le bloc-batterie et ne pas le jeter au feu.
4. Ne pas souder le bloc-batterie, et ne pas le démonter ni le remonter.
5. Veiller à ce que les contacts soient toujours propres.
6. Si le bloc-batterie s'échauffe excessivement, une fonction de
protection s’active et interrompt momentanément le
fonctionnement du bloc-batterie.
7. Si le caméscope s’est mis automatiquement hors circuit parce
que le bloc-batterie est équisé, retirer le bloc-batterie avant de
raccorder le cable d’entrée CC du bloc d’alimentation/charge
au caméscope pour continuer la prise de vues, sinon le
caméscope ne pourra pas être mis en circuit.
8. Lorsqu'on n'utilise pas le bloc-batterie, te ranger à un endroit
frais et sec.
9. Ne pas jeter le bloc-batterie épuisé avec les ordures
ménagères. Lors de l’achat d’un nouveau bloc-batterie, confier
le bloc-batterie usé au revendeur afin qu'il le jette d'une
manière favorable à l’environnement naturel.

■ Précautions d’utilisation
•Avant de brancher le bloc d'alimentation/charge sur une prise
secteur, vérifier que la tension et la fréquence locales soient
comprises dans les limites de la tension et de la fréquence
indiquées sur la plaque signaiétique.
•Utiliser le bloc d’alimentation/charge uniquement pour alimenter
le caméscope en électricité et pour charger le bloc-batterie.
•Ne pas l’utiliser à proximité immédiate d’une radio, d’un
téléviseur, etc. (La réception radiophonique risque d’être affectée.)
•Lorsqu’on débranche le câble de secteur, le tirer en saisissant la
fiche, et non le câble.
•Ne pas trop plier les câbles.
•Ne pas exposer les câbles à des températures élevées et à des
produits chimiques.
•Ne pas manipuler le bloc d’alimentation/charge avec des mains
mouillées.
•Avant de nettoyer le bloc d’alimentation/charge, s’assurer qu’il
n’est branché à aucune prise secteur.
Precautions for the Battery Pack
■ Cautions for Use
To prevent leakage, excessive rise in temperature and explosion,
be sure to observe the following points:
1. Use only the specified AC Adaptor or the optional Car Battery
Charger to charge the Battery Pack.
When the operation time even after proper charging is too
short for normal use, the service life of the Battery Pack has
reached its end. (It can be charged approx. 200 times.)
2- Make sure that no metal objects touch (short-circuit) the
connectors of the Battery Pack. (When carrying it in a bag or
similar, take care that keys, coins, etc. do not come in contact
with it.)
3. Do not heat the Battery Pack or throw it into a fire.
4. Do not apply solder to the Battery Pack and do not
disassemble or reconstruct it.
5. Always make sure that the contacts are clean.
6. If the Battery Pack becomes too warm, a protection function is
activated and it puts the Battery Pack temporarily out of
operation.
7. If the Movie Camera has turned off automatically because the
Battery Pack has become exhausted, remove the Battery
Pack before connecting the DC Input Cable of the AC Adaptor
to the Movie Camera to continue shooting, otherwise the
Movie Camera cannot be turned on.
8. When the Battery Pack is not used, store it in a cool and dry
place.
9. Do not dispose of the exhausted Battery Pack with your
household waste. When purchasing a new Battery Pack,
return the old Battery Pack to your dealer for environmentally
correct disposal.
Precautions for the AC Adaptor
■ Cautions for Use
• Before connecting the AC Adaptor to an AC mains socket,
confirm that the local AC mains voltage and frequency are within
the voltage and frequency range specified on the rating plate.
• Do not use it for any purpose other than supplying the Movie
Camera with power and charging the Battery Pack.
•Do not operate it very close to a radio, TV etc. (The reception
may be distorted.)
•When unplugging the AC Mains Cable, pull it by the plug, nol by
the cable.
•Do not bend the cables excessively.
•Do not expose the cables to high temperature and chemicals.
•Do not handle the AC Adaptor with wet hands.
•Before cleaning the AC Adaptor, make sure that it is
disconnected from the AC mains socket.
