Troubleshooting profiling
Resolve common problems that can occur during the profiling
process.

Information and solution
Wrong
measured strip
The data received for the measured strip does not
match the expected results for this strip.
Make sure that you are measuring the correct strip.
Perform one of the following actions:

Click OK to measure the strip again.

Click Cancel to continue the process.
Strip

failed
A red X icon appears.
Repeat the measurement.
Device not
connected
Connect the external device.
Printer not
connected
Connect the printer.
Measurement

Repeat the measurement.
Invalid
measurement
format loaded
Make sure that you are loading a measurement file in
the correct file format.
Wrong chart
measured
Repeat the measurement with the correct chart.
Managing profiles
The Profile Manager enables you to import and manage
destination, source, and device link profiles on the IC-312 print
controller.
Importing a destination profile
Import a destination profile to emulate an output device.
Requirements:
If you save a profile in a location other than the Profile Manager,
you must import it before you can print a job using it.
Note: After you import the profile, the file format becomes *.icm.
