9. Be sure that the plastic PCI hot plug (PHP) mechanism that secures the end
of the board nearest the rear of the chassis is in the open position. If not,
press the center of the PHP until it clicks open and then rotate the
mechanism downward from outside the chassis.

10. If you are adding a new board, remove the perforated rear panel cover in
the slot you’re using by pushing it out from inside the chassis.
11. Press the PCI board down firmly until it seats in its slot.
CAUTION Some accessory/option board outputs exceed Class 2 or
limited power source limits and must use appropriate
interconnecting cabling in accordance with the national
electric code during installation.
