13. Unplug the power cords from the power source and remove them from the
server.
14. Remove the Legacy I/O board from the system by following the procedure
described in the Chapter 8 section, “Removing the Legacy I/O Board”.
15. Reposition the jumper on jumper block J7A1 so that it is in its parked
position. See Figures A-16 and A-17.
16. Install the Legacy I/O board by following the procedure described in the
Chapter 8 section, “Installing the Legacy I/O Board”.
17. Be sure the non-hot plug PCI I/O Cover is secured.
18. Close and secure the rear part of the top cover.
19. Reinstall the power cords and plug them into the power source.
20. Push the system back into the cabinet rack.
21. Power on the server.
Clearing CMOS Using the Front Panel Command
CMOS may also be cleared by using the front panel command rather than by
changing the jumper setting, restarting the server, and then changing the jumper
setting back to the default. Complete the following procedure to clear CMOS
using the front panel command:
1. Power down the server by pressing and holding the Power button on the
Front Control Panel. You might have to hold the Power button down for
several seconds.
2. Remove standby power from the server by unplugging both the server’s
power cords from the system and removing them from the server.
3. If the system is racked, pull it out as far as possible to gain access the rear
part of the Top Cover.
4. Reinstall the server’s power cords and plug them into the power source.
5. Wait 8-seconds, hold the reset button for four seconds. While holding the
reset button, depress the power button and release both at the same time.
The system will now power-up.
6. Wait for the message 'NVRAM cleared by jumper' to appear. When the
