Installing Memory Boards
Two memory boards exist, one plugged into each side of the Processor Baseboard
(the top and the underside of the Processor/Memory Complex). This procedure
describes the installation process for either memory board. To re-install the
memory board or install a new board, complete the following procedure:
1. Observe all safety and ESD precautions.
2. Remove the Processor/Memory Complex as described in “Removing the
Processor/Memory Complex” in Chapter 5.
3. With both extraction levers raised to engage the guide pins, place the
memory board over the Processor Baseboard connector and guide pins
