Object Type Hierarchy Modifier DSNM applies the command to:
CPU ALL Only the specified CPUs (there are no subordinate
objects)
ONLY Only the specified CPUs
SUBONLY (there are no subordinate objects)
DISK ALL The specified disks and all subordinate volumes and
paths
ONLY Only the specified disks
SUBONLY Only the volumes and paths that are subordinate to the
specified disks
VOLUME ALL The specified volumes and all subordinate paths
ONLY Only the specified volumes
SUBONLY Only the paths that are subordinate to the specified
volumes
PATH ALL Only the specified paths (there are no subordinate
objects)
ONLY Only the specified paths
SUBONLY (there are no subordinate objects)
Commands INQUIRE and UPDATE are the only DSNM commands that are valid for the object
types ascribed to GUARDIAN. The object type must be explicitly stated for PATH
objects.
