STATUS Command
DSNM Commands
2–30
098571 Tandem Computers Incorporated
See “Considerations” in the INQUIRE command discussion for additional information
on how status information is obtained directly from the DSNM object database.
See Section 5, “Subsystems,” for details on possible discrepancies between INQUIRE
and STATUS.
The state modifier is ignored if the response modifier has the value of SUMMARY,
SUMMARY-BYTYPE, or SUMMARY-BYOBJECT, because these values return totals by
subsystem state.
If the SUBONLY and SUMMARY modifiers are combined for object types on the
lowest level, all counters are shown as 0. (The subordinate objects do not exist;
therefore, the summary of their counters is 0.)
The STATUS command is not appropriate for all object types; see Section 5,
“Subsystems,” for details.
DETAIL is not a valid response modifier for Tandem data communications
subsystems other than AM3270, EXPAND, SNAX, SNAXCDF, TR3271, and X25AM.
