Cause.
You attempted to use a wild card with a subsystem that does not support the
use of wild cards.
Effect.
Objects represented by * are ignored.
Recovery.
Retype the command without a wild card.
-196
Invalid Subsystem
Cause.
Your command includes a subsystem that is either misspelled or not part of
your DSNM installation.
Effect.
Your command was not executed.
Recovery.
Reissue the command with a valid subsystem name.
-197
Manager Missing
Cause.
Your command does not include a manager or supervisor process, as required
by the subsystem.
Effect.
Your command was not executed.
Recovery.
Retype the command, specifying the manager or supervisor process.
-198
DNS Error
Cause.
DNS returned an error.
Effect.
The effect depends upon the specific DNS error. Refer to the Distributed Name
Service (DNS) Management Operations Manual.
Recovery.
Issue a correct command, or correct the DNS database.
-199
Not Resolvable
Cause.
Your command includes a name that cannot be resolved from DNS or
Guardian 90.
Effect.
The object represented by the name is ignored.
Recovery.
Reissue the command, adding qualifiers to the name so that it can be
resolved.
