Effects of the Hierarchy
Modifier
Table 5-4 shows the effects of the hierarchy modifier when it is applied to the object
types in this subsystem. The default value is ALL.

Object Type Hierarchy Modifier DSNM applies the command to:
PATH ALL The specified paths and all subordinate lines
ONLY Only the specified paths
SUBONLY Only the lines that are subordinate to the specified
paths
LINE ALL Only the specified lines (there are no subordinate
objects)
ONLY Only the specified lines
SUBONLY (there are no subordinate objects)
Control Commands The DSNM START, STOP, and ABORT commands are similar to the SCF START,
STOP, and ABORT commands.
The INFO Command When the INFO command is issued against an Expand object, it produces the same
information as the SCF INFO DETAIL command, but in a different format. Refer to
the SCF Reference Manual for Expand for more information.
The STATISTICS Command When the STATISTICS command is issued against an Expand object, it produces the
same information as the SCF STATS command, but in a different format. Refer to the
SCF Reference Manual for Expand for more information.
