DSNM Command Set
in NonStop
NET/MASTER MS
The standard set of DSNM commands available to NonStop NET/MASTER MS users
includes all of the commands described in Section 2, “DSNM Commands.”
Additionally, NonStop NET/MASTER MS gives you access to six more DSNM
commands. The commands enable you to establish sessions with utility programs or
TACL commands. These DSNM commands are referred to as DSNM “utility access
commands”.
In this section, the term utility includes utility programs and TACL commands, and
the term “utility session” refers to a session with a specific instance of a utility. The
DSNM utility access commands are:
ANSWER
Sends text to the specified utility session in reply to confirmation
prompts from that utility.
BREAK
Immediately sends a break message to the specified utility session.
CLEANUP
Performs an operation that is similar to the KILL command, except
that it affects all of your utility sessions.
EOF
Sends end-of-file to the specified utility session.
KILL
Stops the specified utility session immediately.
SEND
Sends text to the specified utility session. If the utility session does
not exist, it is created.
Note
DSNM utility access commands cannot be executed from within NetStatus in the NonStop NET/MASTER
MS environment.
