The following manuals are prerequisite reading for system managers and
recommended reading for operators:

Introduction to NonStop System Operations gives a general overview of Tandem
NonStop systems.

Distributed Systems Management Solutions (DSMS) System Management Guide
contains installation and configuration information for DSNM, NetStatus, and
NetCommand in a DSMS and a NonStop NET/MASTER MS environment. It also
gives detailed information on DSNM and information on creating and maintaining
Distributed Name Service (DNS) databases for your network.

The following manuals describe other Tandem products that are related to DSNM.
They are corequisite reading for all system managers and recommended reading for
operators:

Introduction to Distributed Systems Management (DSM) introduces the set of
software products collectively called Distributed Systems Management (DSM).

Distributed Name Service (DNS) Management Operations Guide provides information
about object management using the Tandem DNS subsystem.

Event Management Service (EMS) Manual describes the EMS facility for managing
event messages generated by subsystems.

The Integrated Operations Console (IOC) Manual is prerequisite reading for users of
