Response Modifier

Because no hierarchy modifier is specified, the response also includes the status of all
the pending or down terminals controlled by the TCP. The default response modifier
BRIEF is applied and the command returns one line of information per object:

The following command returns detailed status information for the Expand line
\BERLIN.$LHUK:
STATUS \BERLIN.$LHUK, DETAIL

The following command returns a single line of status information for the Expand line
\BERLIN.$LHUK and lists the acceptable states for the line:
INQUIRE \BERLIN.$LHUK, DETAIL
A sample response to the command is:
EXPAND LINE \BERLIN.$LHUK Up
Acceptable State(s): Up
The following command checks the status of every member of the groups LONDON,
BERLIN, and PARIS, and of every object that is subordinate to those members:
STATUS LONDON BERLIN PARIS, SUMMARY
The response shows the total number of objects in each state:
152 Up, 30 Pending, 55 Down, 1 Undefined, 1 In Error
The following command displays a brief status line for each member of the group
BERLIN-SNAX:
INQUIRE BERLIN-SNAX, SUMMARY-BYOBJECT
