Page 112: Enable interface

Precautions
•
The interface to be queried must be an MPLS TE interface.
Configure interfaces
This function is used to configure the MPLS TE interface information, including the management
group information, maximum connection bandwidth and maximum reservation bandwidth.
Operation Procedure
1.
Select the Service tab, and then select Resource ManagementInterface Management from the
navigation tree to enter the interface management page.
2.
Select the interfaces to be configured and click Configure to enter the device interface
configuration page.
3.
Type the interface configuration information.
4.
Click OK.
Precautions
•
The maximum reservation bandwidth must be less than or equal to the maximum connection
bandwidth.
Query available bandwidth
Query Available Bandwidth
This function allows to view the available bandwidth information.
Operation Procedure
1.
Select the Service tab, and then select Resource ManagementInterface Management from the
navigation tree to enter the interface management page.
2.
Click the
icon.
3.
Click Query Available Bandwidth to enter the available bandwidth information page.
Precautions
•
This function allows you to view the available bandwidth information, helping you with the
interface configuration.
Configure interface traffic patterns
This function is used to configure traffic parameters on an MPLS TE interface. Link bandwidth
changes may result in path recalculation. Frequent path calculations consume lots of system
resources. Thus, it is necessary to configure the bandwidth change thresholds so that IGP flooding
is triggered only when the thresholds are reached.
Operation procedure
1.
Select the Service tab, and then select Resource Management > Interface Management from
the navigation tree to enter the interface management page.
2.
Click the
icon for an enabled interface.
3.
Click Configure Interface Traffic Parameters.
4.
Type the parameter values.
5.
Click OK.
Enable interface
This function is used to enable MPLS TE for interface.
