5.22 Counter
Counters can be created for any specific event or for multiple events. Counters function
similar to an event and are independent of the event, thus allowing greater flexibility. You
can select a counter for any event and if both channels are selected you can set the
counter to count upstream and downstream. Counters can be reset providing further
flexibility. The counter once set lives in the State. In an Advance to Sequence state once
the action proceeds from one sequence state to the next, the counter in the preceding
state will stop and the counter in the current state will start.
There are two Counters for the Global State and four Counters for the Sequence State

It is an invalid configuration for some events when you try and set a counter and timer when
both channels are selected.
Local Counter Action
You can set the Action of the Counter to Increment or
Reset. The Counter increments by one and resets to its
initial value. The default is No Action.
Global Timer
Set the Global Timer, there are two options available.
Global Timer Action
You can set the Action of the timer to Start or Reset.
When you reset the timer it resets to it’s initial value. The
default is No Action.
Global Counter
Set the Global Counter, there are two options available.
Global Counter Action
You can set the Action of the Counter to Increment or
Reset. The Counter increments by one and resets to its
initial value. The default is No Action.
