In some (rare) cases the clock signal may have a very fast edge relative to the scope's sample rate,
such that there are fewer than four samples on an edge. If that is so, it may help to reduce jitter on the
recovered clock to "upsample" the reference clock input. Determining the edge time uses cubic
interpolation, which works best when there are at least four samples on the edge. This control allows
you to specify the upsampling factor for the reference clock. In most cases, no upsampling is
needed. Nonetheless the default value for this control is 5, which should always be sufficient.
