BaseFrequency
Double
From 1 to 2e+012 step 1
Range
This is the value shown as "Data or Bit Rate" on the Clock Recovery dialog page. This value can be
automatically set using app.SDA2.CDR.FindBaseFrequency, or app.SDA2.FindFrequency. Note: if
you are using an separate reference clock, ie, if you have checked "Use Explicit Ref Clock", then this
value is the clock frequency times the Multiplier.
Description
CutOffDivisor
Integer
From 10 to 1000000 step 1
Range
This setting controls the bandwidth of a single-pole PLL emulation that can be selectd as PLL Type
"FC Golden". When set to the default value of 1667, the response is the "golden PLL" defined for
Fibre Channel. The value should be thought of as dividing the bit rate. For example, for a bit rate of
1GHz, 1e9/1667 = 599.88kHz. That value can be read in app.SDA2.CDR.PLLFrequency, when the
PLLType is "FC Golden".
Description
FindBaseFrequency
Action
See app.SDA2.CDR.BaseFrequency. This control does the same thing as app.SDA2.FindFrequency.
Description
PLL1TransportDelay
Double
From 0 to 1 step 1e-015
Range
For FB-DIMM, when two PLLs are required, this is the delay of the signal produced using the first PLL
before it is seen by the second PLL. This is meant to emulate a Tx PLL, the Tx sends a signal
through a channel, which is then seen by an Rx PLL.
Description
PLLCompensateForMissingEdges
Bool
This setting should normally be False, so that the PLL behaves as a real hardware PLL probably
would, that is, the bandwidth of the PLL is proportional the transition density of the signal. When this
control is set to True, we compensate for the transition density so that the PLL bandwidth does not
vary with transition density. (In firmware revisions through 6.0 this control was not revealed on the
SDA2 clock recovery dialog and can only be set using Automation.)
