(2) Greasing method
Grease the guide by following the procedure below:
[1] Apply grease between the slider and base, as
shown to the left.
Apply grease on the opposite side in the same
manner.
[2] Spread the grease evenly between the slider and
base using a spatula, as shown to the left.
Spread the grease evenly on the opposite side in
the same manner.
[3] Move the slider back and forth several times by
hand.
[4] Repeat steps [1], [2] and [3].
[5] Use a waste cloth, etc., to wipe off excess grease
from the slider.
