When you transfer data to the handheld device, the site data, as set in 
the Batch Synchronization Utility\Send Data tab will be transferred to 
the handheld device. However, the default site for the Batch Portable 
application is set in the Options screen. To select the default site for 
handheld data collection, click the drop-down arrow in the Default Site 
field and select the default site from the drop-down list that appears. 
(The selected site in the Default Site field will automatically appear in 
the site drop down boxes and/or as the selected site on the screens 
throughout the application.)

Next, select a Location option.
Mark the Prompt for Location option to require a location selection 
for each transaction.
Mark the Default Location option for the location selection to default 
to the last location entered.

Mark the Show Transaction History check box to display the five 
most recent transactions sequentially in a grid. If you do not mark this 
check box, this feature is disabled and the transaction grid will not 
appear in the Batch Portable Application screens.

Mark the Delete Data on HH After Upload check box to purge data 
automatically on the handheld after successfully sending it to the Batch 
Synchronization Utility on the desktop. Note that when you enable this 
option, the handheld application will not contain backup data. If you do 
not want the data to be deleted automatically after an upload, do not 
mark this check box. (If you do not delete data automatically, you are 
still able to delete data through the Purge function.)

Mark the Display pull down lists check box to display pull down list 
selections in the Batch Portable application. When you mark this box, 
you are able to tap an arrow in the selection field and select from a list 
of validation data that appears for the selection. If you do not mark this 
check box, selection fields do not contain a drop-down arrow from 
which to display a selection list, however, you may enter or scan the
