Setting Utility Options
The Batch Utility options include data upload rules, data processing mode
selection, and default site selection. Batch Utility options are set in the
Options form.
1. Select Tools > Options from the menu bar. The Options form appears:
2. The Options form contains two tabbed areas:
Upload Processing: contains a Record Rules section and a Process-
ing Mode section for setting rules for the record upload process.
System: contains the default site setting; shows the default language;
displays the Sync URL location.

Options To specify what kind of records are automatically added during a data
upload (upload processing), please refer to the instructions below:
1. Click the Upload Processing tab to bring this section to the front.
2. When you set record processing rules, you are specifying what kind of
records are admissible during data upload processing. To set record
processing parameters for the following record types: site, location,
item, destination location, and negative quantity, go to the Record
Rules portion of the form:
New Site: to add new sites to the database during the upload process,
select the Add Record option. If you do not want new sites added dur-
ing the upload process, select the Reject Record option.
New Location: to add new locations to the database during the upload
process, select the Add Record option. If you do not want to add new
locations during the upload process, select the Reject Record option.
