How to get a license keys file
This procedure is only for THOMSON service personnel with access to the THOM-
SON Intranet.
The valid (purchased) license keys for the XtenDD switchers can be obtained from
intranet site

select (on left bar) ”Technical Support”

select ”Technical Support Signal Processing”

select ”Download Area”
D
select ”License codes” and choose the switcher type and respective EBox se-
rial number

click theleft mouse button for viewing the license code
D
for download of the licence key click with right mouse button at the respective
serial number of EBox (e.g. 115) and store it onto Floppy Disk as 115.txt
Install the license keys by using the license file
Before downloading to the switcher the file (e.g. 115.txt) has to be renamed to:
sp_license.txt

Insert Floppy Disk

Select the menu Install / System /SW opt

ress ”Read File” button and choose “Read file from FD”

The option codes will be downloaded to the switcher EEprom at the mainfra-
me’s backplane.
Path for reading file from FD: A:\sp_license.txt
Path for reading file from HD: C:\Programme\DD35\sp_license.txt
