1. GENERAL
1.1 ABOUT THE MANUAL
This operating control serves as a reference for the production switcher
family. It applies to all switcher mainframe configurations (2M/E, 3M/E and 4M/E)
and to the Control Panels RPS 35--4/32, RPS 35--3, RPS35--2 and RPS 35--2S.
In principle, the control philosophy is identical for all control panels. Deviations and
particularities are described accordingly.
A number of control functions is only available when the respective software li-
cense was also acquired when purchasing the switcher. Functions being only avail-
able by corresponding licenses, are marked accordingly.
The manual is divided into the following main chapters:
1. General Introduction und allgemeine Hinweise
2. Panel Operation Description of all buttons and controls
3. Menu Operation Description of all menus and sub--menus
4. Setup and maintenance Maintenance items for the operator
5. Application Notes
